Personal Protective Equipment Assesments

Hazards exist in every workplace in different forms: sharp edges, falling objects, foreign bodies, chemicals, fumes, noise and a myriad of other potentially dangerous situations. OSHA requires employers to conduct Personal Protective Equipment Assessments to identify and implement the necessary hazard controls to protect their employees from workplace hazards. An Assurance Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Assessment will help you:

  • Identify the hazards and the hazard controls (engineering, administrative and/or PPE) necessary to protect your employees
  • Select appropriate PPE for a variety of circumstances
  • Understand the types and uses of PPE
  • Identify the training needed in the proper use and care of PPE
